Iranian Pavilion Awarded Best Pavilion at Guangzhou Tourism Exhibition

The Iranian national pavilion was awarded the title of "Best Pavilion" at the 18th China International Tourism Industry Expo (CITIE) in Guangzhou. This accolade was earned through its compelling presentation of historical landmarks, attention to local and traditional features, and distinctive aesthetic design, which together attracted an unparalleled level of visitor engagement.

 

During the exhibition, Mr. Hariri, the Consul General of Iran in Guangzhou, visited the pavilion. He was received by Mr. Sofi, CEO of the Iranian Tourism and Automobile Association, and held cordial discussions with him and other Iranian representatives participating in the event.

 

The Consul General expressed his great satisfaction with Iran's inaugural participation in the CITIE exhibition. He highlighted the significant potential for boosting inbound tourism to Iran, pointing to the large population, cultural diversity, and prominent economic stature of Guangdong Province and the city of Guangzhou as a valuable opportunity for such development.
