The sixth exhibition of Iran Expo 2024 has ended

The sixth exhibition of Iran#39s export capabilities known as Iran Expo 2024 ended on May 12 2024

 The sixth exhibition of Iran Expo, started in Tehran on Saturday, the 8th of May 1403 (April 27, 2024) and ended on May 12, 2024. The significant presence of foreign guests in this exhibition showed that Iran's economy, despite the restrictions caused by the sanctions and in the shadow of complete security, has been able to improve its production level and subsequently its exports. According to the announcement of the Trade Development Organization, in this round of the exhibition, more than 35 trade delegations and foreign chambers of commerce and about 2,600 political and business officials from European countries, BRICS member countries, members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, Latin America, neighboring countries and The Persian Gulf region, the countries of Eurasia and Africa participated, which shows a 100 percent increase in the presence of foreign businessmen compared to the previous year. It is worth mentioning that after sending the invitation, more than 3,500 businessmen from 103 countries of the world registered to attend this exhibition, but due to the limitations of urban infrastructure, it was not possible for this number of foreign guests to attend in Tehran.

Another difference of Iran Expo 2024 was the focus on providing valuable products; In the way that this year in the Iran Expo exhibition with the presence of more than 800 Iranian companies in 6 product groups of Iranian products including food industry, agriculture and fisheries, industry, handwoven carpets, handicrafts and tourism, medicine, medical equipment and laboratory equipment, chemical products, Engineering technical services and petrochemical group, as well as with the presence of more than 150 Iranian knowledge-based companies and presentation of 1500 knowledge-based products.
